Taking inspiration from the natural world and its irregularities, Pamela E. Petrus focuses on the creation of abstract environments and visuals through the use of alternative materials as well as her own unique interpretation. Some materials are sourced from nature itself and are combined with oil paints, metals and artisan papers. Her mixed media artworks provide a dynamic visual experience and journey through the abstract. 

 

Pamela E. Petrus is a graduate of Kent State University’s Fine Arts program and although an artist first and foremost, she is also a business owner of many years which she continues to maintain. The balance of these professions has allowed her to have a diverse approach to her artwork that only continues to evolve.
